Mondrian Anyone?

Luckily this semester I was able to add the Art Appreciation class to my full load for fun. I must say, this is my favorite class to go to! It's nice to finally learn the names of artists who's paintings I've seen so many times. One in particular that I was relieved to now have a name with a painting is the iconic Piet Mondrian. Doesn't sound familiar? Rest assure you have probably seen his paintings or similar versions of it. A while back (2 or 3 years ago) I saw a pair of awesome shoes on an awesome boy's feet. They were the classic checkered Vans slip on that I had been envying for a while. But theses weren't you typical black and white checks. They were Mondrian checks! So the conclusion of my story is that now you and I know the name of the artist (Piet Mondrian) who's works that we have seen so many times. The end!
